Description
Fentanyl is an extremely potent synthetic opioid, and its derivatives are often 50 to 100 times stronger than morphine. It is the main cause of opioid overdose deaths. The fentanyl test is a strip test with antibodies sensitive enough to detect fentanyl and many of its derivatives at a concentration of 10 ng/ml.
The test comes in a hermetically sealed, single-use pouch with a hygroscopic silica gel sachet inside.
How to use the fentanyl test?
Czym jest fentanyl?
METHOD 1
If you are testing an opioid or benzodiazepine pill, crush the whole pill in a plastic baggie and tip out the powder. Add 10 drops of water to the baggie and mix well. Dip the test strip no higher than the thick line. Wait 15 seconds. Put the strip aside and check it after 5 minutes.
METHOD 2
If you are testing a powder, dissolve 100 mg of the sample in 200 ml of water. Dip the test strip no higher than the thick line. Wait 15 seconds. Put the strip aside and check it after 5 minutes.
RESULT
1 line = fentanyl detected, 2 lines = fentanyl not detected. A faint line counts too.
A negative result does not guarantee that there is no fentanyl or any of its analogues. The test covers only the sample you prepared, and the substance can be spread unevenly through the material you are testing
