Description
Nitazenes (benzimidazoles) are extremely potent synthetic opioids that can be as dangerous as fentanyl. They are behind many opioid overdoses and can be deadly even in very small amounts. A dose too small to see with the naked eye can be fatal. They are often found in counterfeit medicines and in opioids.
The test comes in a hermetically sealed, single-use pouch with a hygroscopic silica gel sachet inside.
How to use the nitazene test?
METHOD 1
If you are testing an opioid or benzodiazepine pill, crush the whole pill in a plastic baggie and tip out the powder. Add 10 drops of water to the baggie and mix well. Dip the test strip no higher than the thick line. Wait 15 seconds. Put the strip aside and check it after 5 minutes.
METHOD 2
If you are testing a powder, dissolve 100 mg of the sample in 200 ml of water. Dip the test strip no higher than the thick line. Wait 15 seconds. Put the strip aside and check it after 5 minutes.
RESULT
1 line = nitazene detected, 2 lines = nitazene not detected. A faint line counts too.
A negative result does not guarantee that there is no nitazene or any of its analogues. The test covers only the sample you prepared, and the substance can be spread unevenly through the material you are testing
